Quality Control Inspections
- WHAT WE DO
Catch It Now.
Not in Court.
During construction, things go wrong. Subs skip steps. Other trades damage finished work. Installation details do not match the specs. Without someone watching, one bad detail gets repeated across the entire building.
We perform construction-phase QC and QA inspections to verify that roofing, waterproofing, and wall systems are being installed the way they are supposed to be. We catch problems while they can be fixed for hundreds instead of millions.
- WHAT WE INSPECT
What We Watch For
- Installation quality versus manufacturer requirements
- Specification compliance
- Flashing and transition details
- Damage from other trades
- Material storage and handling
- Mock-up verification
- Substrate conditions before installation begins
- WHY IT MATTERS
The Cost of
Skipping QC
A skipped mock-up means one bad detail replicated a thousand times. An unprotected membrane means punctures from every trade that walks across it. A flashing detail done wrong at one transition means it is wrong at every transition.
We have investigated these failures after the fact. It is always more expensive to fix them later than to catch them during construction.
